I was digging around trying to find all the extra toenail in the side of my toe, but barely got any out and couldn’t find any more

I don’t think the tiny bit I got out is what’s causing the pain

Here's a reply for the effort of typing 5 lines in English and keeping it coherent

saok your foot in hot water and epsom salt. then use the pointy nail file part of your clippers to pry up the part thats under the skin. While its still soaked and malleable, hold it up so that it bends and changes shape away from growing into your skin. This always worked for me

It’s at the very bottom of my nail tho
So I have to dig deep down and slightly release the nail from the skin at base of the nail

I’ve done it before and got a decent amount out, but the last two times haven’t resulted in much

try to slide a piece of dental floss as far down as you can after soaking, it helps prop it of your skin a bit as well. After a certain point you have no choice but surgery but this is as good as it gets for a home remedy

I tried dental floss but couldn’t get it under
I’ll see how it is after healing and then just try digging in again with my nail scissors after soaking it
