Europe likely wont buy Russian oil for a long time . instead they will buy from America and Canada. No point in having oil from the Donbas when the only people who buy it are india and china at below market prices.

Because the same way the US are funding Israel to destabilise the Middle East and eventually confront Iran they funded Ukraine as a proxy for years (building an army) to attack Russia. Apart from the plan failed because when they rug pulled and cut Russia off from the Western economy Russia's economy didn't collapse.
