Went to the doctor they said nothing wrong I'm meant to visit the GP but the wait line is long. I'm not an academic so I'm not particularly bothered about grades but my parents are, they think grades = success in life idk why. I'm resitting next year anyways.

So how do I hide my shit A-Level grades from them? Should I just move out during the summer?

'grades = success in life' is true to a certain extent, because otherwise you won't get hired to almost every good paying job. of course there are ways like lying to get hired or getting experience in a certain job but this requires effort and increases the risk of never getting hired again if you get caught frauding.

the question should be what you consider success not if good grades are useful, because they are. if you think earning 3000-5000$/month while working a boring job for a chad-boss means success in life then you should study hard and get good grades. you can also become the new elon musk or whatever but getting to a position like that requires at least the same amount of time you would've spend on studying and the risk is much higher, since most people don't have enough IQ, luck and/or have no support from family or friends.

good grades are a way to ensure you won't become homeless. good grades signify to a company that you had enough discipline to get those good grades which means you are useful to them. you always need to understand first what value you can offer to society, because value means money. if you know you have no exceptional value to offer to others you should just study and become a normie wageslave.

I already have a job to my parent's grades and academic success are a 5-minute status brag on fucking WhatsApp.
