I feel so bad for people who still have to play the social hierarchy game

I'm at a point in life where I have fiancee and a child, and I've realized that friendships are fleeting, so I'm mentally checked out of the need to compete in social hierarchies or popularity contests

And my fiancee isn't a social butterfly either, so she doesn't care

The shitty spot to be in is when you're 13-22 and you're in school needing to compete with who is popular, or if your wife is a status obsessed clown who needs to compare you constantly to others
