"Fly" was produced as a result of the series' considerable budgetary restrictions and being unable to afford the $25,000–$35,000 needed to move the production trucks to a new location. Series creator Vince Gilligan remarked: "We were hopelessly over budget ... And we needed to come up with what is called a bottle episode, set in one location."
Was the lowest rated episode, still got a fucking 7.9/10 rating jflThe episode with the fly was boring af tho
dude it definitely had a wide audience, its the best rated tv show for a reason. it holds a 9.4/10 rating from 1.6 million votes. i remember it was widely talked about back in the day. though i stopped midway through and took an 8 year break lmao, im not even joking. i finished the show in 2020 but stopped watching in 2012.Interesting
Tbh the whole series felt a bit low budget, which isn’t that suprising considering it didn’t have a wide audience, a fantastic show regardless ofc
I always felt like that even the location, Albuquerque, NM was chosen mainly for budgetary reasons
