I had chronic stress for more than 3 years thanks to my boxing course :rage: the way it was spiking my cortisol...

But now, I'll gymmaxx and ascend :feelsgood:
Without a stress :feelshah:

as someone who has never done any kind of martial arts in his life i would imagine knowing how to fight acctually mogs and boosts you confidence immensely. For looksmaxxing gym mogs obviously but i think doing some kind of martial arts one the side doesnt hurt at all and girly acctually kinda like it at least what ive seen on tiktok lol

The cortisol spike doesn't worth it mate
You feel anixous and stressful every day of week

idk i cant say wether thats true maybe the training you did there was too itense might be worth looking to join a different mma gym then. I could also iamgine thats because you didnt really enjoy boxing at all then which makes sense why it was stressful for you.

also why tf was previous comment posted twice jfl

The reason of stress is not the intensity of it, the reason of the stress is fighting each other and getting beaten up.

you don't feel the stress at the first times fighting, however, having it repeatedly every week for years slowly bulids an anixety in your brain resulting in a fear of it after a while later.

Knowing that you'll always have to fight opponents (which are already stronger than you) on a certain day of week makes you stressful for that day. So whenever you're close around that day, you feel the stress. as the day comes closer, you get even more stressed. we can definitely call it chronic stress!

This is not healthy in the long run, and is the reason why no one there at the course actually enjoys it. I observed that every kid is trying to avoid the fighting day.
