You meet a stranger (most likely met via OLD) and go have lunch with them.
I've only ever had two short flings with girls and outside of that I'm pretty much incel and never approached any women. But these two were from mutual friends/class it felt a lot more natural. We would already spend time with each other and our social circles before we go closer, naturally. But in OLD you are taking a stranger, a literal stranger to a restaurant and having lunch with them. Regardless of if you spoke to the bitch for days - the end goal was always a date anyway. Chatting is just another filtering process. The real stuff happens when you meet IRL.
