I fucking hate romance in movies/TV

It absolutely boggles my mind that movies/TV hasn't blackpilled every single normie in existence with it's bullshit "romance" sub-plots. 90% of the time the male love interest is just a bland chad or prettyboy that does nothing of note and yet the female love interest will still fall for him anyway. It's the lookspills/blackpill staring them straight into the face yet for some insane reason they don't get it. It also doesn't help that romance sub-plots rarely contribute anything to the actual story/plot and typically just steal screen time from the rest of the movie/show.
