fucking brutal, this was exactly why i took up football when i was younger. it's such a NT activity and if you get decently good at it, you can actually seem like a normie and gain friends through this

i used to hate it too, and berated the kids at my school who played it, but over time i found it very fun once you play more and get better. sounds corny but it's really true

just dont invest into the fanbase too deeply. football fans are probably some of the most toxic and immature people ive ever met, which is why i dont play or involve myself in football anymore

though, i recently started watching bluelock and it's pretty hype and makes me wanna play again, maybe you could try watching it too?
