I go home for 1 WEEK and I’m a fat bloatcel

I had been leanmaxxing very well at university and I was at the point where I finally had (faint) abs and good facial angularity and was on track to get pretty shredded for summer

But one week on my mothers cooking (probably in excess of a 1000 calorie daily surplus alongside the snacks she shoves in my face) has me looking like a bloatcel with a mike israetel belly I’ve descended so hard.

I know that its out of love and I appreciate her cooking but I really do hate her attitude towards food especially when she’s actively trying to lose weight but just ignores the basic principles of thermodynamics. If I say no to her she acts concerned for me and tries to guilt trip me into eating so going home is an automatic non-consensual bulk I literally have to spam cardio to stay lean. And I am fairly big so you can imagine how absurd the portions are

I’m not that worried about this week because I can just burn it off quick and the bloat is temporary, but when I’m back in June looking shredded I’m gonna have to put my foot down to not lose it all over the course of the 4 months that I’m at home

I relate to this hard but I try to reduce portion sizes when it's my mom cooking because I know she will throw in lot of empty calories that is how asian cooking is.

I take drugs instead of eating slop, very easy way to maintain 12% BF.

I have no problem with eating in a deficit when I actually get to make the food
