I got rejected for being too “generous”

I have to preface this by saying I was not romantically interested in her even though she is objectively attractive & I don’t want to rate her because I unironically respect her.

However someone asked her why she wouldn’t date me and she said it’s because I’m too generous (but also because I’m too much influenced by religion and family).

All valid concerns, and I agree with her; that’s why I was not interested myself but I thought it was kinda interesting that being generous is considered a turn-off for women haha.
