I got books on physics, general chemistry, molecular vibration, and fractals, chaos, and power laws. Will this help my iq?

High IQ don’t need books

Acquired knowledge/learned information has nothing to do with IQ which is the innate ability to rationalize and solve problems

Crystallized iq? I mean general intelligence.

you don't need a lot of general knowledge to be competitive. vast majority of people are ignorant and hold low detail/quality knowledge

I'm not sure to what extent reading those books can help, it might be that one thing would lead to another and your brain will improve in certain areas due to being engaged in complex issues but if you want to try getting smarter from reading books you're probably better of reading philosophy or something that isn't objective information

Would reading these books atleast provide me with some intelligence benefit.

no. read wikipedia articles and watch youtube videos instead. books are a legacy mode of storing and transfering knowledge. it is inferior

Reading books doesn't raise your iq, just your knowledgeability.
Besides, whats the point of knowing all that beta/stem shit if you aren't even going to apply it in the first place?

tbh coming up with these theorys yourself is a sign of high iq. reading and understanding those shows some iq atleast

do math problems, play chess

and you'll get what you want

I recall that some studies showed that reading consistently over a long period of time increased white matter density and working memory abilities (which is a trait correlated with the g factor and an important component of most iq tests such as WAIS-IV).

Intelligence applied to irrelevant topics won't get you anything
Expert knowledge outside your work field acquired just out of curiosity is a disadvantage and suboptimal because other options supersede it in terms of benefits
Socializing, looksmaxxing, adquiring useful skills is superior
Useful skills and knowledge that will get you to look better, be healthier, earn more money, anything to be superior to other high value males is better
But yeah, learn about fractals and chaos
