background info: so I’ve been taking accutane around the last 2 months dermatologist prescribed and it’s accurate to say that it is the only thing that will clear your acne as I had horrible cystic acne and now my skin is almost fully clear.
Seizure time: I get my fucking blood work done for my accutane prescription to be filled and I did great all throughout getting my bloodwork done but on the drive home I pass out and seized tf up. I got taken to the hospital and they didn’t really do much besides pump me full of fluids until I felt somewhat better.
I now have headaches and just my head overall feeling pressurized a lot of the time. After doing some of my own research (doctors didn’t tell me shit at the hospital) I figured out that atleast the mechanism that’s causing my head feeling pressurized is called intracranial hypertension which is one of the more rare side effects of accutane. Anyways just wanted to share my experience, accutane is still a miracle for acne and I plan to continue to abuse it whenever I find a solution to the intracranial hypertension and see a neurologist to make sure it was the accutane. Anybody else with these side effects or just me?
