I had a job interview in finance and performed very well. They didnt notice that i am still doing my bachelor and not finished yet.
So in the end he asked for my salary expectations and i said a way to low yearly salary number. Because i was nervous i simply calculated my monthly salary wrong to the yearly. He wrote down the wrong number and said thats "very okay" for them. Of course its okay, because its extremely low for my job :ROFLMAO:
He said i will get called for a second round where a team will be there.
How can i still negotiate for 15k more yearly salary or is it over?

Frankly, even if you asked higher, you are in no position of leverage.

I wouldn't risk negotiating again because there are probably many other applicants in your position who will bend over regardless of $, they just want the experience.

Just do this gig for however long you can and look to leverage that experience into better pay.

Good job on the interview.

But he also lost many years of his life in prison and lifed his prime in a suburban gang with a average wife.
He got famous in his 30s. Will be descended oldcel in 2-3 years. Because he is low iq he will have zero savings and end up in prison.

No issue at all. Just work there for three months and then say that now that you have shown that things are working out you would like a significant raise. Keep going to them like every 6 months and negotiate the shit out of them.

I don't have a degree in finance (don't even have a Bachelor's jfl). People here keep mentioning it as worth getting into. Is it possible for me or should I get a degree or pursue other routes?

Without a degree you can maybe go clean the toilet of investment banks.

When you negotiate for a salary in IB, usually even if you say a very low salary, they would give you the minimum that they give as a bank. It doesn't matter if you asked for example 50k and their minumum salary is 60k they will give you 60k not 50k, IB have standards with their salaries. If they think that you would be a good fit they won't care about that as a junior position.
