Thinking about it now this must happen a lot. It seems like most communities have attractive people coming and larping for attention from normies - guitar videos is probably a decent example for that. Guys will play something i could play when i was 7 but because they look hot they get THOUSANDS of likes.

I suppose it was always going to be the case that they end up more well known and successful than an ugly guy posting himself but its just so annoying that they use something people have actually invested time into as a prop.
