In India, one continuously lives in a pressure where he/she is expected to follow certain norms set by the community. An average citizen whether he/she is a child, a teenager, an adult or even a senior citizen is expected to behave in certain way. There are many stereotypes and people judge you. Oh ! People do judge you. They Judge you real hard.
I don't mean to say that these are the social rules but, everyone fears the 'Chaar Log' (What will people say).

- For a Child who is 2 years old, Their parents talk to them in English. This has become common among the IT Societies in cities. They wan't their kid to learn English (no concern about their mother tongue) because, if he can't speak English, Log kya kahenge ? (What will people say ?)
- For a teenager, their parents keep pestering them about their clothing, why ? "Beta, Aise kapde pehnogi to log kya kahenge ?" , (If you wear such chlothes, what will people say !)
- For an adult, He/she are expected to have a good job, a fat income, well settled life. There are thousands of people who don't have the courage to even stop doing what they hate. They suffer their entire lives doing a job they don't like. Why ? because, If they Quit the job, Log kya kahenge ?
- Even the elders in our society aren't excused.
- Very long ques everywhere you go. Shopping malls, ticket bookings, movies, even hospitals.
- You come across poor helpless people on the streets and there is only a litltle you can do for them.
- Corruption happening around us. Sometimes, people are scared of the traffic police instead of feeling secure. why ? He might charge you for something and demand bribe for not filing the charges.
- Too much competition. Being world's second largest populated country, there is huge competition in employment, education, business, etc.
- Castism. Need not be explained.
- Fake activism. This has been on the nerves recently. There are issues which are sometimes miscommunicated by the media and they take a form of nation wide debate. The recent ones being Intolerance, JNU and Sedation charges. Common people get incomplete news and start debating. There are long aggressive debates on Facebook which disappear within weeks. People tend to show that they are concerned about the issue but this Facebook activism dies within one or two weeks. There can be very very dumb and meaningless outcomes of this trend. For instance, people started uninstalling Snapdeal App from their phones because Aamir Khan was the brand ambassador and he said that there is growing intolerance in India
