it seems he has smth like mod hairstyle, but with wavy-to-curly hair, as type 2C-3A, so its for the most part can be his natural curls, with very less of styling. if u have a hair type like his, try sulfate-free shampoo and moisturizing conditioner (to reduce frizz), leave-in conditioner and any curl enhancer or styling cream. for better definition and volume - any light gel or mousse.
if you dont have this type of hair it would be really hard and ull have to fuck around with this styling for much longer, and most likely you won't get the same result. so I don't know if it's worth it, but good luck

the idea is similar using hair to cover the temples but with straight hair, the reason i like it so much is because my side parts look sort of dumb. i can send u photo in dm. also instead of the midde part going back it goes sideways

if u have strait hair, mod haitstyle would be the closest, and everything I recommended u can use, just do a styling like for a straight hair maybe (cause its longer for curly and youll just lose your time on it, your hair will straighten quickly and most likely won't hold its shape)
