I have a strange hair texture

My hair is like an in between. If I comb my hair and use hair wax it is perfectly straight

If I scrunch my hair with water. I have soft loose curls

If I let it dry as is i have wavy hair

My hair is also very dense and has a lot of volume so unless I use a lot of hair spray it doesnt sit flat so I cant do those wall street banker hairstyles either.

It's versatile for sure but it takes a lot of hair product to style them. Curling cream, search salt spray, hair spray. A small amount doesn't work

I have the EXACT same hair as you. We have the same pheno.
You have curly hair, but you don't know how to take care of it. It will appear straight and dry when it's short, but it is in fact curly.

Use a no sulphate shampoo and conditioner, buy arata leave in cream from Amazon and get curly hair halo like me
