I have a theory

To do with the human population, specifically males

Its less of a theory and more of a question tbh, but is the human male population supposed to be less than it is, instead of it being roughly 50/50 men and women should it be 40/60 for example?

The reason I ask this is because of things like hypergamy, the fact men are more predisposed to casual relationships and the fact that in a world without “peace” more men would be dead in wars/battles etc.

This would also kind of explain hypergamy or why women tend to want men who are already wanted (e.g. in a relationship), its to do with the slightly higher scarcity of a good man compared to a good woman
