The movie '3000 years of Longing' was new on Prime, so I clicked on it. It starred Tilda Swinton as an nerdy dried up old white English woman working as some kind of Literature critique or teacher, I am not sure, it doesn't matter. Anyway, the movie started fairly well with her having some super natural experiences during a conference she was attending, all white people at the conference. Then she bought a funky looking bottle in some 3rd world nick knack store. Yada Yada, the bottle breaks and an a enormous black guy manifests from the broken bottle, it is a Genie, or a Djinn as this movie calls him. He is the typical magical negro archetype common in books and movies, so I did not give it much thought. I thought the plot would proceed with her getting her 3 wishes and having the unintended consequences be the basis of the movie. But no, the entire rest of the movie was about the Djinn's life story, first he told of his relationship with the Queen of Sheba, supposedly the most beautiful Kangz in the world,
Then he told a second story of a relationship he had with a beautiful, super smart, young white woman,
Then Tilda Stinson's character wished to have a relationship with him.
And he did all this while spending 90 percent of the movie with his clothes off.
