So yeah, after years of slogging through assignments, late night submissions, group projects with freeloaders, and cursing the university management every single day I was there I'm finally done. Degree done and dusted.

I cursed my university every single day I was there. The admin was a mess and half the time it felt like they went out of their way to make our lives harder.

I just found out they're organizing a farewell and in true university fashion, nobody thought of informing us properly I already flew back to my grandmother's place on the other side of the country, so now I've got to make another long trip back just to attend it. Still, I'm going. Not for the uni fuck them still but for my friends. It's going to be fun catching up with the old gang one last time before everyone scatters in life. New chapter of my life begins

Tbh, a loot of stuff in school and uni felt like humiliation rituals and diploma seems to tell employer less about your actual skills/potential and more about the fact you had patience and conformity to endure all that so you would endure stupid tasks at job too without rebelling much about their stupidity, exactly what bosses want (and it's magnified a lot in military).

Everything I learnt in uni is more or less by self study. Like I said I didn't attend classes but generally professors at unis like mine don't care about the students and only care about doing their research paper and building a reputation for themselves in their fields. Teaching is more of a chore something they are forced to do.
