my diet is good, and for anyone wondering im on 60mg and im at 2040mg rn (i bumped up the dose a couple times)- at what point can i expect to have clear skin and is there anything i can do to speed it up

i take it with food everyday and idk people say i will either be htn or cl without it and its just dissapointing i really fucking hate myself because of it

my skincare routine is pretty decent i use cerave products, which all get 60 or above rating on Yuka which is considered good and without dangerous chemicals - i use cerave hydrating cleanser, cerave moisturising lotion and cerave spf

because u have only been on it for 2 months nigga right now its only gonna get worse

Usually takes around 3 months for it to start clearing (emphasis on start). Afterwards you will start getting cleared.

i get bullied for my looks people always talk about it behind my back or stare at my forehead and cheeks

on google they say it gets way better by two months and purging is way over by then

ok do you think i will have scarring
Probably, but there's some fixes for that so it's not the worst part. Also you should moisturize bc accutane dries your skin and shit and if you don't you might end up with more scarring than you would have if you just moisturized.

It also says the course of the treatment lasts 5 months (probably minimum). I've seen people go for more though like 7-8 months and then it eventually cleared. Btw I hope accutane was your last resort for acne shit because I've heard a lot of negative shit about its sides, especially if you're still in puberty.

i'll genuinely pay 100$ to the first person who has a way of fixing my issues

Damn bro. You might be getting absolutely baked and trolled by pharmacists and dermatologists. It's possible your acne is caused by fungal instead of bacterial. For starters, antibiotics and accutane technically do their jobs by treating the symptom, which is the acne, but from what I've read it's possible it's a gut related issue. You said your diet is good, but antibiotics alone can often mess up your gut health long term.

In short, your acne could be fungal (possible considering antibiotics did fuck all) or for some reason the bacteria causing your acne is for some reason completely resistant to the meds (doubt since u said it made it worse).

Easiest way to tell if it's fungal is if it's kinda itchy.

----------- IMPORTANT ACCUTANE INFO BELOW-----------------
Accutane is legit for treating the symptom of acne, but not the cause, and imo the sides are honestly shitty. It can fuck your stomach/GI (shit is linked to many other problems, so if your stomach is fucked up your health indicators will suffer along with it), permanent dryness on skin, give you arthritis and joint pain. It's not 100%, but your derms are a bunch of shitbags who are just trying to earn a buck regardless of whether you "successfully" cleared up your problem.

Also you're a teenager probably, so this shit will fuck your growth up.

It does its job though, but you should have tried a proper skincare routine or got yourself tretinoin.
