I've already talked to multiple top surgeons in Europe and US. Been to multiple clinics. Have taken second opinions and read up all the literature regarding those surgeries available online. I even have all the finances to make this happen. I was thinking of getting it next year but the one thing that still puzzles me is how I am going to explain this ro my family and friends. What should I do? How can I randomly disappear for 2 months straight. What will my dad say.. how will I explain any of this. What will I do during recovery? Who will be there for me. So many hidden problems and trivial issues that get amplified 10x because you are alone

It seems like it's best to just move countries tbh. Like permanently shift to Italy/Germany/France or something. Look for a job there or do freelance work. This is what a redditor did btw. Just permanently moved from the US to Italy and took up a work from home job and has been staying there ever since. New country, new people. Same name but a new identity a fresh start and it is expected for previous friends and family members to drift away when immigrating but this is so so hard to pull off. The language barriers and VISA is just the tip of the iceberg. I don't know how he managed to do it TBH

This.

I’m probably just going to incel rage at my coworkers and quit as soon as I come back to work after the surgery though tbh. I don’t give a fuck any more, I’m too far behind, working isn’t gonna catch me up. Just spend all my money on a few years as Chad hopefully then eat a shotgun shell.

They won’t understand, they never will.

You’re gonna just have to accept the fact they’re going to be upset and unsupportive but do it anyways.

You’re financially independent so it shouldn’t be too much of a problem.

I wouldn’t move countries just for surgery unless you really like the idea of living in some place like Italy, just rent out a Airbnb or something when you eventually have the money.

Give them the spinal decompression bullshit or something after you went to a chiropractor or whatever, might be able to combine that with a slight "late growth spurt" too

You could say you got your ass beat in some slum by immigrants if you do migrate and while they were fixing you up they gave you both aesthetic and functional improvements for a slighg price increase, issue is nobody that's not insanely fucking stupid won't believe or atleast will be immensely suspicous.

Just make up an excuse like you got injured horrible and had to get surgery to fix the facial asymmetry because you were having trouble chewing and your neck was hurting due to the injury. I am sure they will understand.

Yes. Even had CT scans and all
Have you discussed what your implants will look like? Have you got down to the serious design, is what I’m asking?

No not yet. Like I said I'm deliberately delaying it so I can do this properly.

1. Tell them you got your wisdom tooth extracted (that was my lie)
2. Don't tell them anything and try to avoid them when recovering.
3. Tell them everything and just say it like it is - you want to look better, it's your life and ur decision, ur an adult. If they support you, NICE, if they don't, who cares. The results will be the same with or without their support.

4 (THE BEST ONE) -
Get all the surgeries without telling them, after ur done recovering, go back home and tell your parents that all of their tips about improving your personality and just putting yourself out there finally worked!
