I was using tret 4 times a week without problems for 2 weeks and I decided to add one more day! Bad mistake, my skin got irritated and peeled so now I have to let it heal and start again, it took me a looot of time to be able to use tret 4 times a week! Fuck my skin, I don't understand why it doesn't tolerate tret good

You shouldnt have to start from 0 your skin should still be adapting to the tret
hopefully

I started from once a week, I had a lot of problems with tret from september, I even changed formulations from gel to cream and lately everything was going well, but now my progress is ruined

It's a weaker version of tret basically and since he overdid it it could be viable for him

Idk know man, everything was good on tret for me less acne, better skin texture, it just seems I have to wait way longer to be able to increase frequency

lmao had the same, tret 0.025 for 3 months then 0.05 for 2 months and i was like that dumb and did tazatorene 0.05 everyday... peeled off everything and everywhere, healed in 3 days and now back on twice a week with tazatorene

Prescriptions aren't the problem for me, in my country I can get most shit without prescription

Get it at any store like Traget or walmart if in America
I'm alr on Salicylic acid do u think I should include this too or is it going to be too much

I didn't really had a purge, but I can sense that my skin barrier is a bit broken, so it's best to stop and heal and my skin type is oily

alr I got the same skin type. How severe was ur acne before tret.

Not very severe, but it's a bit noticeable, I had a thread in september with a photo of my skin, but it's 10Γ— better now

"just do skincare bro" until truecels have unsaveable subhuman collagen and follicles

Bro tret is life, even if I had perfect skin, I would use it for anti aging and hair is also fixable if you start early enough and don't have super agressive mpb

For me tret helped with acne, I was actually a bitch and didn't want to take accutane, the only brutal side effect is hair loss and I always had thin hair, making it thinner would literally looksmin me hard, trading a problem for other problem is not worth

Some part of me wants to continue tret, but the smart move would be to wait for my barrier to fully heal and restart sadly

yeah

in the usa u can just buy it at stores, but in the eu its prescription only
how effective is it and is ur acne completely gone, what's ur skin type btw

imma js buy from walmart

16, i wouldnt pair it with salicylic acid, i just use a foaming cleanser and the adapalene afterwards, and a moisturizer if my skin get dry

Damn.. Unfortunate

Building up to tret daily seems impossible:confused:
bruh keep going even if ur skin gets flakey retard. its part of the retinisation process, as long as u moisturise very very heavily ur good

I know it has to get flakey, but whenever moisturizer stings it means moisture barrier is comprimised and you will just get more irritation

moisturise use an emollient and keep doing it

But by this logic wouldn't starting daily and then kepping the skin super moisturized eventually work?

So it was stupid when I started 2 times a week because eventually I build up, but I still got irritated?
wait till a holidy and do it everyday. u dont really need to build up bro. it wil ruin ur skin short term but quicker u get used to it the better results longer term
