I have two measuring tapes and they both give different measurments

They have a difference of 1.7 cm(0.75") which is crazy since both are verified tapes.
Cant trust anything these days

If you have a dollar, a dollar is 6.14 inches and you can go based off that.

The thing is that the error is proprtional.
(Meaning that it becomes bigger as the size of the measured object increases)
A dollar is too small for the error to show
