average USA white male is 5'10 (measured), average male in the tallest country in the world is 5'11.5 (self-reported). The difference is a bit overblown. Don't get me wrong 1.5 inches is enough to make a noticeable difference, especially in the extremes, but it's not as huge as some people think.

yeah the only way to really know is to either look at measured stats with a large sample size (usually from countries with mandatory military service for all men, those are the most trustworthy), or have your height measured by a doctor, and then actually go to those places and look at the people around you. I've given up trying to make sense of all this, every guy online has a different story. One guy says he mogs at 6'0 in the UK, another one says he feels short at 6'0 there, one guy says he mogs at 6'2 in the Netherlands, another one says he feels average at 6'3, some guy says he gets "constantly brutally mogged" by women and old people at 6'0 in Asia, another one says he feels like a giant etc. All I know is 6'2-6'4 is the ideal height range for a man, I've stopped caring about average stats and anecdotes.

Honestly this is so true. I tough my cousin was taller than me but after We both measured height i was like 5 cm taller.

Some people also measure height from back of the head which is not accurate cuz thick hair make u look taller from back combine that with eye level and u think u are manlet.
