i identify with my white side despite being hapa

obviously, most 50/50 people identify with their ethnic side or identify as mixed and even people who are around 75% white can identify as ethnic or "other". i understand i am genetically nowhere near white but i identify with my white side.

it is mainly due to culture. i feel culturally way more white than asian due to growing up with a white father and living in a white neighbourhood

I did also until around 15 since I only grew up around whites and western culture so I thought it makes more sense but I think it's all about phenotype and only identify as the other now. If you look white you identify as white if not you identify as the other.

Also if I would refer to myself as white also people who imply I'm not (which is true) but there's a double standard where whites can identify with indigenous groups when they're 1% and look like they just came off a boat from Europe

i havent faced racism from whites tbh. if i did, id probably not identify more with my white side. obviously, if i was open about loving asians and shit (i dont, but if i did), maybe id experience racism at that point? irl, ive always rarely spoken about race

For me there's an added niche layer because I had whites mistaking me as Asian as a native, so I have whites asking me where I'm from to imply I'm not from here when I'm native and they're the immigrants. Although I think being pale wasn't helping, look less ambiguous with a tan I have rn and ill probably use MT2 also, not to looksmax but just for phenotype

maybe since i grew up in schools with some ethnics (still majority white tho), i avoided those kind of questions since i doubt i look whiter than you. ive also rarely talked about race, so i never had whites have an excuse to label me as anything. being tanned doesnt really change what race i look like tbh. maybe i'd look more latino, but features wise i already look latinoish. if i start going outside more and people really hone in on labelling me as asian, ill identify with my asian side more. this didnt happen in the past tho

well i mean japanese people are pretty short, even the ones living in japan. id say theyre around 5'7.5-8 for the young gen which is noticeably shorter than whites. they arent that ugly tbh and most are prettyboymaxxed from what i remember. whites still mog ig due to dimorphism, colouring and height, but ugly whites would still be pretty ugly there is what id say

no atleast in my case maybe its only usa, since blacks always have a certain bias against whites(observations irl and online) and vice versa
if anything blacks r a bit worse cuz their ''racism'' wld be justified and its allowed.
