I got 3 hours of sleep studying for it last night

then I forgot everything once the test stared, and I ran out of time and left more than half blank

idk what I should do or if I should kms because that singular test is worth 15% of my entire grade, it's near the end of school year so nothing I can do would bring it up

and my head hurts so much

I literally had 0 information retention it was actually insane

practice problems for math subjects is law, I have learned my lessons

@160cmcurry you were right bro, I tried cramming and did not retrain an ounce of information, I no joke left half the test blank

super frustrating considering how many hours I just rotted for nothing

it's curved but I don't know if that would save me

I basically have to bank on my classmates doing just as bad as me, but that's unlikely they seem smart + disciplined

15% of ur grade isn't even that much, also tell your professor about it, also is this college or HS

I can't understand this right now wtf it sounds like an actual different language
  • Something being "itself" is inherently tied to what it is not. For example, the concept of "light" gains meaning by not being darkness.
  • However, in this process of negation, it does not erase its opposite entirely; it retains it as a reference point. Saying "I am confident" implies rejecting "cowardice," but this rejection keeps the idea of cowardice alive in our minds.
  • Ultimately, an entity's identity (in-itselfness) is shaped through a dynamic process that involves both itself and its opposite.
Example:
A tree exists as a "tree" precisely because it is not a rock. Yet, the definition of a tree indirectly acknowledges the existence of rocks. In other words, what you are not shapes what you are, but these two are not entirely separate.

Damn bro, if you need any help like you can dm me before your next exam. At least 15% aint that much, if its still possible to pass you will. Just need to start like 3 days earlier.

erm, 7 hours of sleep is enough :feelswah:
I don't get how sleeping could possibly mog learning the information tbh

I think in my case it was just a lose lose situation

even if I had a good amount of sleep , I would legit have 0 information to pull out of my ass because I hadn't been paying attention or doing the assignments of the class

me studying gave me the information but didn't matter since I couldn't recall most of it anyways

ggs it's all my fault though

30% in frq portion

I know the max I got was 50 since half was unanswered

and the other half i did answer was really shit and rushed

the mcq eh probably a 60-70

Just study a little bit not excessively

Once you’re missing out on cortisol-minning activities the rewards will be diminishing

Linear algebra, discrete mathematics.. shit like that comes to mind for me
i mean it depends also on how many classes u take, if u take a lot, it can be hard to handle the load

Yeah when u have multiple math related classes its hard esp if you wanna maintain a social life on the side too. But with consistency its possible, consistent studying is law if you wanna pass

yeah, that’s the thing. gooks and curries that perform well in STEM aren’t actually “smart,” they just spam practice problems over and over to fully understand the material and identify any misconceptions they have. they basically retain all the information through continuous problem solving using a decent self learning textbook. you’re taking high school statistics, right? look into the practice of statistics (6th edition) by yates, starnes, tabor, and moore. any edition works but this is one of the newer ones. you can learn from the ground up if you put in the effort, read everything, do all the problems, and correct any misconceptions. how well you perform on the final depends entirely on how much work you’re willing to put in. online courses or videos won’t do much; you need to write everything out by hand if you actually want to retain concepts. you can use gpt to supplement you in any questions you have going through the textbook
