I just got rejected by a recruiter because uglier than the other candidate

Holy shit I need to vent, I'm fucking raging right now.
Today went to an interview and we were three guys. Me, another guy (who was on the same level as me in terms of looks) and a fucking Chad. Same age as me but with a NW0, square mandible, glowing skin. A typical WASP. We were interviewing for a junior investment banking position.

The recruiters were two young (late 20's) shallow femoids and being blackpilled I already knew the Chad would get favored but I didn't think THAT MUCH favored.

I was the most qualified candidate for the position. I was the only one who came from a target school, had better experience, better powerpoint skills (i know it sounds retarded but as a junior banker you mostly prepare pitch books), better language skills and clearly interviewed well because the questions are always the same and I prepared well. All was futile because the mere presence of the Chad was enough for the two idiot female recruiters to think he was the most qualified. They complimented him, sometimes they giggled at him and they did everything they could to make him comfortable. I had zero doubt I was more qualified than him. For god's sake I never even heard about the university he went to. I graduated from a top business school in Europe with a super high GPA.

The recruiters were "normal" to me....they didn't act nasty or bad but I could tell they favored the other guy even though was less qualified and my hunch was validated later on when I discovered he got the interview with the managers and I didn't!!! Fucking insane.

One thing is to read about the halo effect, another is to witness the halo effect before your eyes. It's fucking brutal. Good looking people have so many advantages. Life isn't fair and meritocracy is just a word people like to say but never act on it.

Investment banking is a client facing business. Of course good looks plays a key advantage.

Imagine the CEO sees the bankers and there's some ugly manlet in a suit there. He's probably gonna think, is this the best I can get with what I'm paying for? Are these guys even taking my company and this deal seriously?

Hope so but it seems like it's a phenomenon seen in the industry as a whole for some positions. The guy above who said quants (or engineers) have it better is right. Some subhuman works in that niche, but for front end jobs companies hire good looking people unless you completely obliterate them with your skills. Often you can be better, but it's tough to completely dominate them. And I don't even enter the networking aspect of finding a job because I don't want to get mad but Chad has a massive advantage in here too since his good looks allow him to know and befriend all the right people.
