Literally. Telling the truth gets you no where in this life. muh trurstworthy is all bullshit that nobody cares about.

It only guards and increases your reputation but not telling the blatant truth doesnt really make you less of trustworthy unless you tell blatant lies.

Telling the truth = relying on mercy and rationale part of other people
Telling your own manufactured truth = taking the other people's opinion in your own hands

Imagine if Hitler campaigned like this :
"Umm akhcually jews are pretty chill people and they are working hard for the benefit of our society in critical roles but when we come to power we are thinking of helping them to revise their attitude toward non jewish people"

Lots of personality traits that people say are good are actually not useful at all and will get you nowhere. It's sad, but it's true.
For example, intelligence. Women often say: "Wow, my man should be intelligent. I like intelligent guys." But nowhere has a Stacy ever dated a nerd (unless Gold digger of some kind), Intelligent people barely even reproduce (low fertily rate). So this is another obvious lie. No one cares about intelligence.

The same about honesty and truth. Many people say, that honesty is a good thing, but will lie themselves. Yes, you should lie. Lie as much as you can. When talking to women, I often lie. About height, age, interests, etc. Women as a result think I often go to parties and have a lot of female attention (which makes them more attracted to me), but in reality, I barely go outside.
