All 3 movies are available for free on Prime.
I only watched the series because I read Musk and Peter Thiel were big fans.
So if Sauron made the original ring, why doesn't he just make another super ring?
Sauron lost the ring more than 500 years ago, but he only decides to create a sense of urgency around the ring the minute Frodo inherits the ring.
The rules around the ring are left intentionally vague and change throughout the movie. We are told that you can't take the ring by force, but then we see the backstory of Gollum taking the ring by force.
The ring seems to only make Frodo invisible. Big fucking deal, his super power is that he is invisible. Sauron has 10x those powers without the ring, and apparently Sauron is already immortal.
Frodo is a complete idiot. Much of the plot of the movie is predicated on Frodo making stupid decisions.
It seems to me the most logical thing for Frodo to do would be to bury the ring in a deep hole in some remote area.
It seems to me the most logical thing for Sauron to do would be focus most of his resources on getting the ring back, and not initiating giant wars which only serve to galvanize opposition to him.
Why is there only one dwarf?
Why do certain extraordinary species suddenly appear then vanish? The Ents, the dragons, the giant elephants, various other giants? And no one comments on them.
There are 2 bearded human Chads in the movie that I kept getting confused, the only difference between the was the way they parted their hair.
The visuals of the attacks on the Castle were interesting.
