the problem is, the reactions the average guys are getting aren't diverse enough for them to be able to tell legit "iois" from absolutely irrelevant glances (and this is without including the individual's level of delusionality and social intelligence already). and even if you manage to correctly "gauge" them, human interaction is not that simple and can often change its dynamics in an instant.
