5'9 here. When I tried online dating, I'd list my height as 5'10. In retrospect, the fraud was probably a bit too conservative, but 5'10 has never been a death sentence for men outside Scandinavia and the Netherlands, so I don't care to test that theory. My mortal sin is my face.
