If I get the job that I want and do well at it, I will have to pay an egregious amount in taxes. But 1 billionaire properly paying his taxes would provide the same value as 1000 of me. Why wouldn’t I want them to pay more?

And if I was some giga elite, I would pay that to keep people happy. If people are dissatisfied, you’re in danger. I am an extremely selfish person but I do want most people to be happy so I’m in a safer position. I want poverty to end so I don’t have to worry about some deranged homeless nigger assaulting me on the street
