Whether or not someone can't laid is not the reason behind this reaction, but the toxic and manipulative behaviors lots of incels (braincels included) partake in is. OP thought this was a lighthearted post, only to realise the person joking about this is part of a community who says things like [this](https://www.reddit.com/r/IncelTears/comments/bkxi36/sex_me_now/).
Posting pictures of women online just to [insult them](https://i.redd.it/esj0gcdqclw21.png) over nothing at all, calling women ["used goods"](https://www.reddit.com/r/IncelTears/comments/blc106/just_see_her_as_used_goods_bro/), "toilets". And that's barely scratching the surface at all. Some barely even see women as human, but as a manifestation of evil with a conspiracy to not let them have sex (I'm hardly joking).

Lots of incels also [put down](https://youtu.be/OtzpPsYpRyI?t=233) other vulnerable and insecure men who look perfectly fine to make them think that they will never have a chance with women, and that he is doomed solely based on looks in order drag them into their cult.
They even [insulte](https://www.reddit.com/r/sadcringe/comments/5jzxvm/incel_believes_he_has_a_chance_because_2_girls/)d another incel talking about how a girl smiled at him
Not to mention twisting positive things to like [being complimented](https://i.redd.it/vh2roykbhlw21.png) or [finding a new female friend](https://www.reddit.com/r/IncelTears/comments/a86i8c/incel_finds_out_his_online_friend_is_a_girl/) by surprise into a negative thing, which is reinforced by others around them. The entire community is pretty much self-sabotaging themselves and each other and hating on others like them and not like them alike. They also put a lot of blame on women as their problem instead of actually improving themselves and their lives by making it seem like their celibacy is fixed. Not exactly something this person wants to think about looking at this meme.

Knowing this changes this joke from being a jab at models, but the product of a twisted insecure mind in the current of a cult-like community. It's now a sort of a reflection of his mild to extreme hatred for guys who can get laid, hence why he thinks their intimidating and generalisation of what he think is necessary for him to achieve in order to reach his goal of getting laid. Thinking about how toxic this group can be can really damage the tone of the joke. And knowing that he's a part of that community also brings up bad memories like that as well such as the [Toronto incel attack](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toronto_van_attack) which killed 10 people as a result of their dehumanisation of women and the fact that r/incels was trying to convince someone [castrate](https://www.reddit.com/r/IncelTears/comments/7bgw51/rincels_is_now_banned/dpi06cs?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x) one of their ex's roomate.

TLDR; this commenter is probably not turned off by the joke because OP can't get laid, but because knowing this changes the intention/thought process behind it from banter about some models he's seen from lighthearted remark to a reflection of the unhealthy thought processes involved with the group. It also brings into mind all the terrible things incels have said, thought, or have done.
