Fuck muscles, fuck physique, fuck all of that. The number one thing that’s kept me in the gym for 5+ years is the dopamine and beta endorphins. I’ve trained to failure on every single lift for the past 3 years because I like the feeling of it. I could do an 8 hour arm workout if I had the muscular endurance and time for it.

I couldn't even add a pound every session into my shitty 5x5 program. I grew larger though somehow

I don’t even run a strength program, I literally just push weight to failiure and incrementally increase every few months. I’ve gotten pretty strong doing this, naturally I can bench 255x12 on the incline smith machine, shoulder press dumbbells 100x8, rep incline press dumbbells 120x8-10, 20 pull-ups. And I’m like 182 5’8

I don’t know if it’s because I’m slightly autistic or it’s just the BBC genes but I’m obsessed with the dopamine like crazy. Like the only reason I want to hop on roids is to achieve more dopamine from the lifts. I’m never gonna become ogre though jfl at that
