I look way better from afar?

If I take a picture very close to my face I look like utter dogshit. I mean a 3 out of 10. From far away though I look at least normie level. I reckon that from close it destroys my FWHR , my face is very long but also very wide, and from up close it just ruins it.

Does anyone else have this issue? I see some friends and they look just as good from up close, this is fucking me in the head, what does it mean? is it over

If you think lens distortion makes that much of a difference you have body dismorphia.

I consider myself just about 5psl in good pics.
Up close to the camera I normally look 4.75psl

^ I'm somewhat narcy about my looks so this could easily be inflated. Regardless I only see a minor .25psl change from close up.
