Through every night
I find myself drowning in my sorrow.
I cry myself to sleep
knowing that I won't see you tomorrow.

you taught me to laugh
you taught me to cry.
and then you left me alone
without saying goodbye.

I still see you in my dreams, in my pain and in my mind,
I see you even when I don't see you, so how come love be blind

You felt my joy, my anger and my pain.
You shared me the shade of a hazel tree and the leaking roof under the rain.
