There’s this professor in my uni proper MGTOW type. He’s like 62 now never married still single living alone in this old bungalow near campus Some students who are close to him once asked why he never got a wife and he said he tried put in a lot of effort. Back then there was no tinder or easy way to meet women but he'd go to Members' Clubs, libraries and ballrooms to try to find a woman but no woman seemed attracted to him.


His parents kept pushing him to marry, but he refused and just focused on his goals. Did his Masters then 2 more PhD all on scholarships, didn’t take a single penny from his parents. By the time he finished he was already around 40. Then his parents tried to rush to get him an arranged marriage and apparently a lot of women much younger than him even agreed to marry him because he was still after all a well respected professor with a doctorate degree teaching in one of the best colleges in the country. But he refused again and just stuck to research.

His house is full of awards and medals like literally covered. He has published 2 ground breaking research papers that got international recognition his research work in formal languages that he did 15 years ago is still being referenced to this day. One of the most well respected faculties in my uni. I never took a class under him but everyone that did loves him. They say he's one of the best professors they had. His classes are never boring because he keeps making random jokes in class. He is also ironically very happy. Always see a smile on his face and he says I don't need a wife when I have my students.

Seems like he just found another way of coping, in this case being his focus on his research. He probably knew deep down that he is sub5 facially and women only wanted to marry him because of his social standing, still kind of retarded if you ask me, he should have just married some random decent looking pajeeta and have kids with her and be done with that aspect of life when he was getting a chance to. MGTOW is retarded if you are genetically gifted in some kind, better to reproduce then be left miserable, especially considering the fact that he is using his students as a replacement figure for a wife.

Can't blame him though, he has lived well till 62, probably has thought about how it would have been nice to have offspring's of your own, to take them out to some places, teach them new and good things laugh with them and make new memories etc. Career and money eventually kind of just lose value as you get older and older especially when you have no one to enjoy it with. Some friends of my father who are similar to this professor(didn't marry) say the same thing. At first they were very happy and enjoyed the freedom, while others there age were busy looking after there kids and being stressed, but eventually as they got older and older, they started to regret not having starting a family, and were just coping by wageslaving day and night because they had no one to return home to. It's a very depressing and misery filled lifestyle.
