im in the same situation, except that my hairline's been decent from the start (it still is). in my case, i fried my hair because i straightened it weekly without any heat protection
i'll have to cut my hair a bit and regrow it

cutting my hair would be suicide, i hate short hair

i think bleaching it and dyeing it multiple times a year has ruined it alot

trying to regrow it back now to shoulder length at least

fuck it ima keep redyeing the bleached part until my full natural hair is back out

i had white hair at birth

got light brown

then dark brown

then ultra dark brown

then i dyed it for 2-3 years straight so i went with black dye as i think that's the hair color now

i only have the roots now though and they're black but it's known that all hair roots are usually darker
it's pretty dead but i started taking care fo it like 4 months ago with actual shampoo and it's really good after i shower

my inly problem is coming it, i always rip off a fingernail worth of hair and idk if it's normal or not, i cope wit hthe fact that i go very harsh on my hair

but once i come it well it never gets back up (only after like 2-3 days because of grease again)
