This is exactly what has happened to me when I became a teenager, before I used to be incredibly gifted and INTELLECTUALLY MOGGED the rest of my classmates in elementary & middle school despite being an immigrant, this was to the point of me being at a 9th grader's english level when I was just in the 6th grade. But now, I always encounter immense difficulties in even basic reading and forming basic sentences such as these. I'm unironically legitimately worried for my future.

also when I was younger when I read books I could imagine all the scenes in the book playing in my mind accurately. Nowadays I just rely on my inner voice which is obviously slower.

Update: my reading abilities have decreased DRASTICALLY, serious dyslexia levels of retrograde control of my literacy. I can't read more than 5 words without my head fucking hurting.
