I hate rep because I'm here for discussion. When I put a lot into a post and come back 5 minutes later and see a bunch of notifications it's always disappointing when I check and it's all rep. I want engagement and discourse. I don't care about the people who agree with me I want to hear feedback from those that don't. That's all I'm interested in really. Other people like rep though so I tend to do it more than I would just to keep people talking.
