I was diagnosed with scoliosis about a year ago, it was about 38 degrees in the upper spine and 25-30 in the lower spine. Pretty quickly after the diagnosis I got a corsett/back brace
I didnt wear it at first until i got my first rehab.
Now recently i had an X Ray and it turns out the curvature is 51 degrees in the upper spine and ca. 45 in the lower spine.
The guidelines recommend to get surgery at 50 degrees, and it will only get worse from here due to gravity doing its thing.
I'm currently 15 turning 16 in february and 185 cm.
Should i get the surgery? Has anyone gotten one and how old were you?
