It won’t if you do it right, get garnier nutrisse, those usually turn out right and is easy to do, get one that looks brown. Colour usually is said on the box which colour it is if it’s light or dark brown etc, colours are numbered so different colours have each their number

buy a blonde dye as it will lift your hair to medium/ light brown. If you use brown dye on jet black hair nothing will happen as you can't go from dark to lighter shade without lifting the color. Afterwards, if it's too light you can use a brown box dye to get ideal color. - im a barber student
