Hormonal acne is mainly driven by androgens such as testosterone that increase sebum production and clog pores. It usually appears on the lower face, jawline, and neck, and gets worse with stress, poor sleep, or blood sugar spikes.

To prevent it, you need to control internal factors first. Cut back on sugar, milk, and junk fats since insulin spikes raise androgens, and dairy, especially skim milk, often triggers acne. Eat healthy fats like avocado, olive oil, salmon, and walnuts to stabilize hormones. Eat high-fiber foods such as oats, vegetables, and whole grains to regulate blood sugar. Drink two to three liters of water daily to keep oil and hormones balanced. Sleep at least seven to eight hours because lack of sleep raises cortisol and increases oil production. Exercise three to four times per week to regulate testosterone and cortisol.

Supplements can help. Zinc (15–30 mg per day) controls oil glands. Omega-3 (fish oil) reduces inflammation. Vitamin D deficiency increases acne risk, and spearmint tea naturally lowers androgen levels.

Keep your skin barrier strong since overwashing or over-drying makes your skin produce more oil to compensate. Use a gentle, pH-balanced cleanser like CeraVe Foaming Cleanser or La Roche-Posay Effaclar Purifying Gel.
In the morning:
apply a niacinamide serum (around 5%) to balance oil and strengthen the barrier, then use a lightweight, non-comedogenic moisturizer and finish with sunscreen SPF 30–50.
At night:
cleanse again, use retinol or adapalene (Differin 0.1%) three to four times a week to keep pores clear and normalize cell turnover, and finish with moisturizer.

Avoid touching your face, change pillowcases twice a week, clean your phone screen daily, and manage stress through exercise, meditation, or anything that lowers cortisol.

If you notice increased oiliness, small clogged pores on the jawline, or breakouts tied to stress or hormonal cycles, act early with a short retinoid cycle and a clean diet reset before it becomes cystic.

Also I don’t really know about peptides so I can’t tell you if ghk-cu helps

Makes your skin oily, messes with your hormones and spikes insulin. Also causes inflammation.
Honestly, any time you wanna make a healthy life change, just start with eliminating these & sugar and hydrating more. Before you try supplements and drugs.
Dairy is more innocuous, but if you've got acne, definitely eliminate it.
You don't have to go keto, just eat carbs that are low on the glycemic index.

ok so what are you recommending for eating on daily basis?

Greens and meat are always a safe bet imo. Chicken, lean beef, fish and liver. Brown rice, boiled potatoes and oats are good carbs. If you eat a lot of rice, eat with hella veggies. Avocadoes, olive and fish oil for your oil needs.
I'd avoid eggs while fighting acne but chances they'll actually break you out are low I think.

These are not true scars — they can fade completely with proper care.

Sunscreen or you’re wasting your time
Use SPF 50+, broad-spectrum, every single day.
If you skip it, the spots will darken and take much longer to fade.
Reapply if you’re outside for more than 2 hours.

Exfoliate smartly, not harshly

Use chemical exfoliants (AHA/BHA) two to three times per week.

Mandelic acid (gentle) or glycolic acid (stronger)
Salicylic acid (BHA) if you still get acne

Avoid physical scrubs — they damage the skin and cause more PIH.
Target the pigmentation

Use one or two of these, not all at once:

• Niacinamide (5%)

• Azelaic acid (10–20%)

• Tranexamic acid (2–5%)

• Vitamin C (10–15%)

• Retinoids (adapalene or tretinoin)

Moisturize every day

Keep the skin barrier healthy so it can heal.

Use a non-comedogenic moisturizer such as CeraVe, La Roche-Posay, or Eucerin.

You’ll see fading in about 8–12 weeks.

Full clearing can take 3–9 months depending on consistency and depth of the marks.

A proven core routine is retinoid + niacinamide + SPF.

Avoid
Home “remedies” like lemon juice, vinegar, or toothpaste.
Harsh scrubs or at-home microneedling.
Picking or touching your skin.
