I know retinol is shit and 100x weaker the retin A

I also know isotretionin is for acne

What about adapalene and tazarotene??? Are they necessary if you don’t have acne?

Is retin A the best and others are not necessarily?

I will appreciate any answers

Retinol isn't shit.
Adapalene and Tazarotene are 3rd generation selective retinoids which have traditionally been used more for acne than ageing but more recently have started to be used more frequently for ageing. Especially Adapalene since its now available OTC in the US.
Not necessarily- it depends on your skin and where you're currently at. A lot of people will use tretinoin for a while, then stop for a while and then start back on it again.

No. Only use one retinoid at a time. As far as which to use, there is more evidence for tretinoin but some people find that they get on better with adapalene.
