Melatonine? Works for me
People have recommended this to me but I prefer not to rely on anything other than myself in order to fall asleep. But right now I won't be able to sleep most likely due to two reasons 1) I slept most of the day already and 2) my brother's loud snoring.

Yeah exactly but its real. They studied it and im genuinely dumber because of it plus at risk for early onset dementia

Meanwhile it's been also studied for me, and basically my cognitive abilities are affected (memory, speech, etc).

You mean for the sleep apnea stuff? I think I have it too btw. Anyways my brain hasnt been studied for 'brain rot' but I recognize myself in the symptoms

No, not for sleep apnea but for chronic insomnia. It's been proven a lack of sleep shrinks your brain and thus your cognitive abilities are affected.
