I've never had to deal with any racism in California at best some mild prejudices which came from other ethnics than whites. My boss, coworkers, even random people I meet have been nothing but nice to me. My boss would mentor me when he there was no need for him to do it. My co workers would buy me beer after work
Random people would come up and wave to me greeting me good morning despite being a foreigner. Many people would randomly conversation with me . I even made a thread about it

Some incidents I remember
Old white lady at Trader Joe's "Good morning, sweetheart! Love your shirt!"
Random dude at the gas station "Hey man, I love your blazer where'd you get those?"
Cashiers asked me where I'm from and then say "Welcome we're glad you're here." Now that I'm back I felt more welcome there than here
The only "prejudice" I've ever felt. From other immigrants and i wouldn't even call it racism more like misunderstanding. Where is this supposed racism? About the west being a warzone for ethnics. You speak politely and people reply back politely to you. You show people kindness and they show kindness back.

Random people come up to me and tell me have a good day in U.S
