Title. Tbh I never quite realized how strong the impact is tbh. So many words, phrases are directly borrowed from Indian languages I recognise so many of them I never noticed or even payed attention. The chai tea, the verendas bunglows, British fashion, B British military structure, music, food even architecture is influenced from South Asia. It is subtle but undeniably present in almost every aspect of British life.
