Not on my birthdays, christmas, festivals. Not when I graduated high school, or turned 18, or after starting a job.
They bought me stuff, after i begged, pleaded with them for simple things every kid wants. Never once did they buy me anything on their own. Not even clothes or socks. Nothing.
